Project DIY: Wedding Invites

I had bought my wedding invitation supplies last year but never really got the time to actually start doing it. Blame it to work, travel, and well, procrastinating.

Anyway, at the beginning of my wedding planning, I already had a concrete idea of how my invitation would look like. Then when I finally took a time out from life and sat down to start working on the invites, I realized my pop-up wedding invitation isn't a very good idea after all.

One reason that changed my mind is that it would cost me too much cardstock or cardboard paper to achieve the pop-up wedding invites. Also I had no help doing it, so going all the fuss of making more or less 25 pop-up wedding invitation cards is a very tedious and tiring job.

That's why, when I saw this nice tri-fold card with a twist on the internet, I have decided that I finally got my perfect wedding invites.

Here's the final output for my wedding invitation. I was just super glad that I somehow pulled off the rustic wedding theme on my invites. Yay!!!

Steps on making this wedding invite posted on my craft blog here.
